Lamb Barbeque Recipe
Jason Said:
Does anyone have a great barbeque side dish that I can use to impress? We Answered:
Rice dishes with savory flavors go well with lamb. So do cous cous recipes and tabulie. A lot of people don't like the second two, but I love them better than the lamb...LOL. I stay away from corn dishes because they don't seem to go as well with lamb. Rice Pilaf is a usual, so probably already there. A good one would be oven roasted potatoes with carrots, onions, mushrooms, garlic cloves, and chopped sun dried tomatoes.Natalie Said:

Not your usual barbecue sauce

Very good! It's important to really mince the orange peel, garlic and herbs. Also, I will cut the olive oil in half next time. The reduced sauce was excellent. I added more ketchup (Jamie uses almost a whole small bottle of ketchup on the show) and a little bit of honey to sweeten the sauce.

This is terrific, I have served it twice in one week to company, I used a bone in pork loin. Everyone loved it.

Love the use of all these ingredients. Taste is "over-the-top". Might seem like a lot of work but it's not -- it comes together easily. Just get into the mood of cooking like your grandmother did.
