Herman Said:What is the broccoli salad recipe from Ruby Tuesday's?
We Answered:Substitute 1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt in place of the heavy cream. ("OPTIONAL")
Florets from 4 bunches broccoli
1 large red onion, thinly sliced
Small pack of toasted or roasted sunflower seeds
16 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
2 cups mayonnaise or 1 cup mayonnaise plus 1 cup heavy cream
2 heaping tablespoons granulated sugar
Juice of 2 lemons
Then you can cut the fresh broccoli florets until they become bite-sized pieces. Toss it up with onion slices, sunflower seeds and bacon crumbles. Then combine mayonnaise with sugar and lemon juice and then pour it over the broccoli mixture. Last but not least, keep it covered in your refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
Enjoy your salad! :D
