Kent Said:Can I have a recipe for shrimp spread or maybe it's shrimp dip??
We Answered:shrimp paste
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon salt
Dash white pepper
1 can (6 ounces) small shrimp, rinsed and drained
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper until smooth. Fold in the shrimp and onion. Refrigerate until serving. Serve with crackers. Yield: 1-1/2 cups.
1 can baby shrimp (see directions below before draining)
2 (16 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
garlic salt (to taste)
Take softened cream cheese and place in a medium to large bowl.
If the cream cheese is not room temperature, cut into cubes.
Pour about 3 table spoons of evaporated milk onto the cream cheese and use and electric mixer to cream ingredients together.
Continue to add evaporated milk 1 tablespoon at a time until mixture is creamy enough not to break a chip.
Open the can of shrimp and drain 2 tablespoons of the juice into the mixture.
Drain the rest of the juice down the sink and add the shrimp into the cream cheese mixture.
Using the electric mixer mix the shrimp into the mixture until all is creamy.
Add garlic salt- just enough to make it a little salty.
Taste with chip or cracker to see how it tastes and if it needs more garlic salt, then add accordingly.
Chill and serve with ruffled potato chips or crackers.
Rachel Said:Does anyone know a good carb-free sauce to dip Shrimp into?
We Answered:Don't know if it's Carb free but Sriracha and Mayo mixed together is pretty good for shrimp and seafood.
Jamie Said:I had a recipe for shrimp dip. but my source died it had 2 cups of ketchup and that's all i remember?
We Answered:Yep! The ketchup and plain (not creamy) horseradish are the two key ingredients...then you add a splash of lemon juice. I agree you have to let it set ahead of time to combine all the flavors best!

Annie Said:I would like a recipe similar to Red Loster's Lobster dip or O'Charley's shrimp dip. Any good recipes.
We Answered:Lobster Fondue
like Red Lobster's
1 lb. processed cheese food - cubed
1/2 cup milk - low-fat okay
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 lobster tail - broiled OR ↓
1/4 lb. crawfish tail meat - broiled
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
2 Tbsp. fresh minced parsley
-Combine all ingredients except red pepper and parsley in a saucepan.
-Heat on medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese has melted.
-When ready to serve, garnish with red bell pepper and parsley.
Notes: Dip torn pieces of French or Italian bread in fondue.
Three Cheese Shrimp Dip (O'Charley's Copycat)
1 can of small shrimp
6 oz. shredded mild cheddar cheese
6 oz. shredded monterey jack cheese
8 oz. cream cheese - softened
1/4 cup sundried tomatoes - chopped
(I purchased these in the produce department, but they are hard to chop - I put them in the microwave with some water and cook them for a couple of minutes - then you can chop them.)
1/2 cup of romano, asiago, and parmesan cheese (in the shaker can)
1/2 tsp. onion powder (more or less to taste)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (more or less to taste)
Mix all ingredients together, spread in casserole dish and bake at 325 degrees until bubbly. Watch closely, the cheese on the edges with burn before the middle is hot. Adjust temperature accordingly.
One correction I will give to the recipe, is that the Jack and Chedder go on after it is cooked and baked until melted. Everything else sounds right.
