Great Steak Recipe

What is a great recipe that involves steak and some kind of pasta? We Answered:
Braciola1 pound top round steak
6 ounces mozzarella cheese
6 teaspoons butter
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
Cut the steak into 4 to 6 pieces and pound each piece thinly with a mallet or the side of a cleaver. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese and 1 teaspoon of butter on each piece, then sprinkle each piece with Parmesan cheese, garlic, and season with salt and pepper.
Roll each piece tightly and tie securely with string. Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium high heat. Saute each roll in the oil for 5 to 10 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
Drop these rolls into your favorite simmering tomato sauce for 1 1/2 hours, or until tender. Remove from sauce, cool slightly and remove the strings before serving.
Serve over pasta.

any steak will do for this. marinate steak in soy sauce as much or as little as you like, minced onion and garlic and onion and garlic powder also as much or as little as you like. let marinate for a few hours and toss in the broiler. check on them every 2-3 minutes until done to your liking. these go great with garlic mashed potatoes.Louise Said:
I need a Great STeak marinade/recipe for a New York steak? ?We Answered:
Here's a simple tip for marinading. I did this all the time in college, and created some of the best dinners ever. If you're cooking steak, search out anything dark/red in the fridge or pantry for a base. If you're cooking pork or chicken, you're looking for anything white, or light in color. Mix a few of the similarly colored things together, until something tastes right, and you're golden. It sounds both simple and weird, but with a dash of intuition, it will work wonders. For the ingredients you've provided I'd recommend everything but the limes and white onions. 1. Smash and chop up the garlic (a clove per piece of meat). 2. Make a mix of the steak & terriaki sauces (a 3-1 ratio of steak-terriaki), and add in the garlic. 3. Marinade the steak in the sauce/garlic mix no less than 1.5 hours (don't forget to pierce the steak evenly with a fork to allow the marinade a better soak). 4. Chop up the green onions and give them a quick saute on med-heat, just enough to release their aroma and soften. 5. Pan-fry the steak on high to sear the outsides, while keeping the inside juicy and flavorful. 6. Serve the steak with the sauteed onions placed on top for garnish and flavor. Some of my best creations:
Mayo, french onion dip, and ranch dressing chicken, topped with a sprinkling of dill.
Merlot, peppercorn, and tomato paste steak.
Try it once for fun, it'll be hard to go back.
Cheers!

Ready In: 40 Minutes
Yields: 6 servings
"The legend goes that Tartare tribes when fighting in the past didn't even have time to stop and cook their food. They are said to have kept the meat underneath their saddles and mince it in this way. Today this dish is a gourmet classic. This dish is eaten like a pate, spread on a piece of warm toast with fresh tomato and onion rings on top. It is very important though to make sure that both the meat and the egg are very fresh because they are eaten raw."
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound finely ground beef
tenderloin
1 teaspoon brown mustard
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
(e.g. Tabascoâ„¢), or to taste
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
sauce
1 teaspoon brandy
1 pinch salt, or to taste
ground white pepper to taste
1 egg
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a medium bowl, mix together the beef, mustard, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brandy, salt, pepper and egg until well blended. Arrange the meat in a neat pile on a glass dish, and cover with aluminum foil. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Serve as a spread on crackers or toast.
