How do you broil a steak ?We Answered:
Here it is step by step.1. Preheat Oven And Prepare The Pan
Preheat oven to broil on high temperature setting.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil shiny side showing.
Make sure the aluminum foil is tight and snug around the pan, especially the edges.
Cover The Pan With Aluminum Foil Tightly
2. Place The Grill
Place the grill on top of the pan.
The holes on the grill allows the steak juice to fall into the pan when broiling.
Place The Grill On Top Of The Pan
3. Open And Broil The Steak
Sprinkle favorite spices on the steak..
Place the steak into the oven to broil for 8-10 minutes.
The steak is going to be cooked medium-rare.

4. Broil The Other Side Of The Steak
Turn off the broiler and remove the steaks to be turned over to the other side.
The steaks were broiled on the top level of the oven.
Sprinkle favorite spices on the uncooked side.
Turn on the oven to broil for 7-9 minutes.
Don't recap the favorite spices bottle(s) because when sprinkling the spices, the heat from the oven entered into the container. Leave the container(s) open for 10 minutes to let out the heat.
Turn The Steak Over and Broil The Other Side
5. Remove The Steak and Enjoy
Remove the steak from the oven.
You may check the steak by cutting open a piece to check the steak is cooked.
Place the steak on a plate or a serving plate.
Remove the grill and pour the steak juice in a bowl if any. Remove the oil if desired.
Leave the steak in the oven longer for a medium to well-done cooked steak.
Let the steak " rest " for 3 to 5 minutes before cutting, this allows the juices to re-distribute and leaves you with a juicier steak.
Remove The Steak And Enjoy

How long do you Broil steak in the oven?We Answered:
Season your steak with whatever you like, and cook your steak for about 8 minutes on each side, but you shouldn't cut the meant to check to see if its done, that'll make the juices escape, either use a meat thermometer to check internal temp. or take a set of tongs to ''squeeze'' the meat, it should feel about the same as squeezing the sking between your thumb and pointy finger. When steak is cooked to your liking, let it rest on a carving board or plate for about 5 minutes so the juices will settle and you'll have a great steak!Penny Said:

How do you cook a london broil steak? We Answered:
It is best to marinate it overnite in BBQ sauce, teriyaki sauce or even soy sauce, but even if you didn't, I would recommend grilling (best) or broiling - just medium rare because either broil or BBQ, if you cook it too long it could get really tough! Then sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper.Jeanette Said:
Is a london broil steak good?We Answered:
I enjoy London Broil after it's been marinated and then grilled or broiled. I use beef chuck for roasts or stews. Eye of Round makes a delicious roast with or without marinade or cut into steaks and done on the grill. This is a very lean and almost dry cut, but delicious when cooked in moisture or marinade! Cube steak is really just tenderized beef that I use for a sandwich instead of a hamburger.Carolyn Said:
How do you broil a steak in an electric oven?We Answered:
turn on the broiler part of your oven and let it get hot in there...about 5-10 minutes. Place your steaks on some broiler-type pan that will let the drippings fall (as opposed to a pan or sheet)Place the steaks about 6 inches from the heating elements and cook approximately 6-7 minutes on each side.
As they cook, leave oven door open just a crack. (I close mine all the way but this was something they said so I'm passing it on)
After taking out of oven, let sit for a few minutes...steak will continue to cook on the inside from the heat it has absorbed.
eat
btw - it creates a little amount of smoke, but not a ton of it
-steaks should be room temperature, so they won't be cold on the inside when cooking starts. that will cause cooking to be uneven. Leave them sit out at room temperature for about 1 hour
-If you want to seal in juices, get a pan very hot and set in the steaks for just a few moments on each side...maybe about a minute or so, maybe shorter...not long enough to cook the steak on inside but just seal the outside so juices stay in once it starts broiling.

What temperature to broil a very thin steak? We Answered:
You can use 500. Just put the steak on, do not close the oven all to way, leave the door partially open, and watch the steak. Give it 2 mins/side.No need to preheat at all.
